Therefore, the large-capacity moka pot is ideal if you want to brew more than one cup of coffee or store extra coffee. Cleaning and maintenance: New coffee pots must be boiled with water at least three times before use. Internal parts such as filters and funnels can be cleaned directly in the dishwasher to save time. For the pot itself, we recommend washing it by hand to keep it shiny and extend its lifespan. After using the moka pot, you must wait until it has cooled down before cleaning it. After cleaning, you must dry the pot immediately to prevent water from remaining inside and black spots from forming. Usage: First, pour the correct amount of water into the bottom of the pot. Be careful not to exceed the safety valve; then distribute the ground coffee evenly in the funnel. Be careful not to tamp the coffee; finally, place the moka pot on the stove and heat it over low heat. When you hear a distinct hissing sound, the extraction is complete. Important tip 1: During use, pay attention to the heating time and the size of the flame to prevent damage to the pot due to dry boiling. Discoloration of the bottom of the moka pot after use is a normal phenomenon and does not affect normal use. Because the top part of this moka pot is made of plastic, you must not heat it over an open flame to prevent deformation or damage from excessive heat.
