The first layer is made of sturdy PP material, filtering out hair, sand, and other coarse particles. The second layer is composed of coconut fiber and activated carbon, which absorbs odors, impurities, and dirt. The third and outermost layer is also made of sturdy PP material. Easy Installation The water fountain filter cartridges are very easy to use. We recommend changing the filter cartridges every two to four weeks to ensure optimal filtration.
